AGM batteries are made using a technology where the electrolyte is bound in the form of a gel. During use, the gas recombination process is utilized and it has a very slow self-discharge process.
Batteries of this type must be charged with special chargers for AGM batteries. These chargers provide the appropriate charging current for the battery.
Using car chargers or other chargers to charge batteries most often results in battery damage.
It is not allowed to discharge the battery below the threshold voltage (21.5V for a 24V battery) and to leave or store it in a discharged state. Chargers designed for gel batteries can be purchased at our other auctions.
