Rebel Game Splendor – become the most powerful merchant on the Silk Road!
Splendor is a strategic board game in which players take on the role of Renaissance merchants competing for prestige and wealth. To achieve success, they must collect gems, invest in the development of their business empire, and gain the favor of aristocrats. The game combines simplicity of rules with depth of strategic decisions, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced players.
Game Rules:
Preparation:

Preparation of the development card deck – The cards are divided into three levels (I, II, and III). Each deck is shuffled and forms a stack from which four cards from each level are dealt.

Distribution of gem and gold tokens – Place on the table 40 gem tokens (7 of each type: diamond, sapphire, emerald, ruby, onyx) and 5 gold tokens (acting as jokers).

Preparation of Aristocrats – A random selection of aristocrat tiles equal to the number of players +1. The rest remains unused in the given game.

Selection of the first player – Any method can determine who starts the game. Subsequently, the game continues in a clockwise direction.
Game Progress:
Each player, on their turn, performs one of four available actions:

Download of gemstone tags:
- You can take three different gems or two of the same (if there are at least four tokens of that type in stock).
- A maximum of 10 tokens can be held – if acquiring new ones exceeds the limit, the excess must be returned to the bank. -
Reservation of development card and obtaining gold:
- The player can reserve any card available on the table or draw blindly from the deck.
- Reserving a card allows you to obtain one gold token, which acts as a wild card.
- A player can have a maximum of three reserved cards. -
Purchase of development card:
- The player pays for the card using collected gems and possibly gold tokens.
- The purchased card moves into the player's area and provides a bonus (a permanent discount on future purchases) and potential prestige points. -
Acquiring an Aristocrat:
- If a player meets the requirements of the aristocrat (has the corresponding number of cards of the given color), they automatically acquire it and receive prestige points.
End of the game:
- When any player reaches 15 prestige points, the round ends so that everyone has the same number of turns.- At the end of the round, the player with the highest number of points wins.
- In case of a tie, the winner is the one who bought fewer development cards.
