Dixit Odyssey – a picture is worth a thousand words
Dixit Odyssey is a narrative card game that develops creativity, imagination, and the ability to think strategically. Players invent and guess associations for beautifully illustrated, ambiguous cards, trying to surprise others while not being deceived themselves. Each card is a miniature work of art full of hidden meanings and unusual references, making each game unique and inspiring.
Game rules:
In each round, one person becomes the narrator. She selects a card from her hand and provides a password that she believes best describes her. It can be a word, a sentence, a quote, a fragment of a song or a movie. The remaining players choose from their cards the one that best fits the given phrase.
All selected cards are shuffled and laid face up on the table.
The players' task is to guess which card belongs to the narrator. Voting takes place using special shields.
Points are earned by both the narrator, if not everyone or no one guesses their card, and the players who correctly identify the narrator's card.
The game continues until the players use all the cards or reach a previously set round limit. The person who scores the most points wins.
