Tickets, please!: Around the World – Family Game with a World Map

Board the train: Around the World is a new version of the iconic board game series that takes players around the globe, connecting railway and maritime routes. The game offers a double-sided map that allows you to travel around the world or sail the Great Lakes of North America, bringing new mechanics and challenges that will surprise even experienced players.

Game Rules:

1. Game Setup:

   - At the beginning of the game, each player receives a set of ticket cards. Tickets for the entire journeys they wish to undertake, i.e., the cities that need to be connected.
   - The game takes place on a double-sided map – one side represents the whole world and the other the Great Lakes in North America.
   - Players also receive train and ship cards in various colors, which they will use to build routes.

2. Game: on their turn, a player can perform one of the following actions:

   - Drawing train or ship cards – a player can draw cards from the deck to obtain colored train cards (rail connections) or ship cards (sea connections).
   - Building a route – to connect the cities on their ticket card, a player plays the corresponding number of cards in the color matching the section on the map. Sections can be either rail or maritime, and some routes connect both types of connections.
   - Port Construction – in this version of the game, players can build ports, which allows them to earn additional victory points.

3. Ticket Implementation:

   - Tickets are complete, showing the departure city and the destination city. Players must connect cities with an uninterrupted railway, maritime, or mixed route, depending on what the ticket cards show.
   - A new feature in this version of the game is tickets that show more than two cities. Players earn additional points for accurately connecting all the cities listed on the ticket.

4. Scoring:

   - Players earn points by completing tickets and also by building ports.
   - The point value for ticket realization depends on the length of the route (the longer, the more points).
   - Ports provide additional points that can determine the outcome of the game.

5. End of the game:

   - The game ends when one of the players connects all their tickets or when there are no more cards to draw.
   - At the end of the game, points for completed tickets and harbors are tallied. The player with the highest number of points wins the game.
