In the heart of the mysterious jungle lie the ruins of an ancient palace. Once full of life, now it waits for someone to restore it. Will you accept the challenge and create the most amazing stairs leading to the Monkey Palace? In this unique family game, you combine classic LEGO bricks with exciting board game mechanics to gain as much as possible... bananas!

What is the LEGO® Monkey Palace about?

LEGO® Monkey Palace is a board building game where players build stairs from LEGO bricks on a special board. The goal is to create the tallest and most spectacular stairs that will bring points, monkey cards, and most importantly bananas – the main currency and measure of success in the game.

What does the gameplay look like?

1. The game is played in rounds, and each round consists of player turns:

A player's turn takes place in several steps:

1. Build stairs
   Using available LEGO bricks, the player builds stairs on their board according to the set rules:

   - Each level must be higher than the previous one.
   - The stairs must be stable.
   - The construction must include arches – the more arches, the more points!

2. Add decoration
   After building the stairs, the player selects and places a decorative element in the correct color – this is the scored and aesthetic part.

3. Earn points for bows
   The number of bows used translates into points – these can be used to buy monkey cards, which provide additional dice and bananas.

4. Buy monkey cards
   Spend points to take cards from the monkey deck – each card provides specific bonuses:

   - New dice
   - Bananas
   - Special effects (e.g. additional move)

5. Check special goals
   If you meet the conditions, you can take a bonus card or a trophy, which will provide additional points at the end of the game and facilitate further building.

When does the game end?

The game ends when one of the players cannot take a sufficient number of dice needed for their construction. The current round is completed and then follows the scoring.

Victory: Who Wins?

Players add up the bananas obtained from monkey cards, bonuses, and trophies.
The person with the most bananas wins!
