Game Description:

Dixit: MNK is an extraordinary card game that combines elements of storytelling, associations, and art. This is an exceptional expansion to the cult game Dixit, in which you will find 84 cards representing fragments of artworks from the collections of the National Museum in Krakow.

The game allows participants to unleash their imagination and interpret images in many different ways. Players will not only come up with associations but also try to outsmart others so that their card is considered the correct one. This is a great opportunity to develop creativity and explore art in an unusual way.

Objective of the game:

The goal of the game is to score as many points as possible by skillfully providing associations and guessing the storyteller's cards. Various strategies can also be used to confuse opponents and direct their choices to other cards.

Game Rules:

1. Preparation: each player receives a set of cards (depending on the number of participants). The first narrator is determined.

2. Narration: the narrator selects one of their cards and provides an association, which can take the form of a word, sentence, quote, excerpt from a song or movie.

3. Card selection: other players choose from their cards the one they believe best matches the given clue. Subsequently, all the cards are shuffled and placed face down on the table.

4. Voting: players (except the storyteller) try to guess which card belonged to the storyteller. They cast votes by placing a token on the selected card.

5. Scoring:

   - If everyone or no one guesses the storyteller's card, the storyteller gets 0 points and the others get 2 points each.
   - If at least one person, but not everyone, guesses correctly, the storyteller and the guesser each receive 3 points.
   - Each player whose card was incorrectly chosen by others receives an additional point.

6. Next round: another person becomes the storyteller and the game continues until the agreed number of rounds is played or until the cards run out.

Other game variants:

- Creation of narrative: instead of a single connection, the narrator can tell a short story or introduction to the image, providing context that may or may not align with reality.
- Misleading: players may justify their card choice by presenting their own interpretations and inciting doubts to convince others that their image is the correct one.
- Multi-level passwords: a rule can be set that the narrative must consist of two or more interconnected words or sentences, which increases the level of difficulty.
- Forbidden words: players can stipulate that the narrative must not contain certain words associated with art, such as "painting," "color," or "character," which forces creative thinking.
