Laser tag is an individual or team sport similar to paintball, which does not require the use of ammunition. The bullets were replaced by a coded infrared light signal, commonly referred to as a laser.
The set includes:
- 2 weapons,
- 2 vests - targets.
Before playing, it is necessary to set up the weapon and pair it with the vest. The weapon is activated by an orange sliding button. When switched to the ON position, you will hear a gunshot sound and see flashing colored lights. Then the weapon needs to be encoded by selecting the team color. Pressing the button with the letter B will select a color: red, green, blue, or white. A battle is possible only between players of different colors. To confirm the selected color, move the loading handle (gray movable element). The next step is to select a weapon using the button with the letter A. There are 3 types of weapons to choose from, which differ in the type of sound they make when firing, the number of shots per round, and the number of lives taken from the opponent with an accurate hit. Weapons are selected by pressing button A the corresponding number of times (1 press - weapon number 1, 2 presses - weapon number 2, etc.).).). The selection of the weapon is also verified using the charging handle. He is also responsible for reloading the weapon after the supply of previous laser "rounds" is exhausted. The lack of ammunition is indicated by the characteristic sound of an empty magazine.
Then activate the vest's targeter, aim the weapon at its center, and pair the device by pulling the trigger. If the center of the crosshair lights up the same color as the weapon, it means the weapon has been correctly paired. The vest is worn on the torso with adjustable straps.
Each player starts with 12 lives. Each of the 3 indicators shows the number of remaining lives according to the following rule: steady light, slow blinking, fast blinking, and off. Some weapons cause enough damage to take away more than one life at once. When a player is hit, the vest signals it with sound and vibrations. If the player's vest vibrates for approximately. 10 seconds and the smoke (steam) coming out of it means that the contestant has been eliminated. For this function to work, water must be poured into the tank, which is sealed with an orange stopper, before playing. The maximum range of weapons (according to the manufacturer) is approx. 40 m.
