Folic acid belongs to the group of B vitamins.
Functions of folic acid in the body:
- prevents neural tube defects in the fetus;
- prevents anemia in pregnant women;
- contributes to proper amino acid synthesis;
- influences the proper formation of red blood cells;
- contributes to proper homocysteine metabolism;
- improves the functioning of the immune system;
- reduces the feeling of fatigue and exhaustion
Composition:
- Ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, capsule shell (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose), folic acid. Product suitable for vegans. The product contains no preservatives, gluten, lactose, or soy.
Dosage:
- Dietary supplement in capsule form containing: 1 capsule: folic acid – 500 μg (250% NRV*). *Reference income value.
- Recommended daily dosage for adults: 1 capsule 2 times a day. Take before meals.
- Recommended daily dosage for children: should be determined by a doctor depending on the child's age.
