Hot Wheels City Shark Attack at the Beach pits cars against a hungry shark waiting right in the middle of the track. The task is to choose the right direction, enough power for the shot, and make it through the entire challenge before the shark snaps its jaws shut. The set includes one die-cast Hot Wheels car in 1:64 scale, so the first ride can begin immediately after assembly.
The rotating launcher offers two different ways of passing through. In the first variant, the little car sets off over a jump, trying to avoid the shark completely. The second path leads directly toward it – the little car drives along a figure-eight track and, with a properly strong hit, can strike the shark and knock it out of the game.
The power of the shot determines the outcome. If the little car is too slow, the shark will clamp it in its jaws and “swallow” it. On the other hand, if the passage is successful, the little car escapes and defeats the shark. After each attempt, the game mechanism can be easily returned to its starting position and another ride can be prepared immediately.
The shark itself measures more than 22 cm and forms a distinctive dominant feature of the entire track. The playset uses the Speed Snap Track system, which allows it to be connected to other compatible Hot Wheels tracks and sets. Additional parts are sold separately.
The track operates purely mechanically and does not require batteries. It is intended for children aged 4 and up and offers a combination of launching, stunt jumps, and battling a shark in one set.
