This is where the magic begins!
Dobble: Harry Potter is a unique combination of the bestselling observation game with the magical world of Hogwarts. Here you will find popular heroes, magical creatures, items, and symbols known from the Harry Potter books and movies. Your task is one: to find one common symbol between two cards faster than the other players.

What is the game about?

In the box, you will find 55 round cards, each containing eight different symbols from the wizarding world. Between any two cards, there is exactly one common symbol – it can be a character (e.g. Harry, Hermione, Ron), subject (e.g. wand, Golden Snitch), creation (e.g. hippogriff) or the crest of one of the Hogwarts houses.

Your goal is to find the common symbol between your card and the card on the table, name it out loud, and perform the corresponding action. Whoever does it the fastest – gains an advantage!

Game Rules – Step by Step

Preparation:

- Shuffle all the cards.
- Deal one card to each player.
- Place one card face up in the center of the table – this is the reference card.

Round Progress:

- All players simultaneously compare their card with the one on the table.
- The player who first finds the common symbol must name it out loud (e.g. "Sorting Tiara", "Hedwig").
- After naming the symbol, perform the action in accordance with the rules of the given game variant – e.g. places a card down, takes a card from the table, passes it to another player.

Ending:

- The game ends according to the rules of the chosen variant (e.g. when the cards run out or the player gets rid of all their cards).
- The winner is the player who is the first to meet the victory conditions.

Game Variants (5 mini-games in the set)

1. Tower of Doom

   - Each player receives one card, the rest form a deck in the middle.
   - When someone finds a common symbol between their card and the one on the pile, they take the card from the pile and place it on their own.
   - The player with the most cards wins when the deck is exhausted.

2. Well

   - Players receive a deck of face-down cards, with one face-up on top.
   - In the middle lies one card.
   - When a player finds a common symbol, they place their revealed card in the middle and reveal the next one.
   - The winner is the one who gets rid of all their cards first.

3. Hot Potato

   - Each player holds one card.
   - When a player finds a common symbol with the opponent's card, they hand over their own.
   - The round ends after the set time – players with the most cards lose points.

4. Card Collecting

   - One card lies in the middle, each player has one card in hand.
   - The player who finds a common symbol with the card in the middle takes it and places it in front of them as a point.
   - A new card goes to the middle and the round continues.
   - The player with the most cards wins.

5. Duel

   - Players compete in pairs, each with one card.
   - Whoever first finds the common symbol and names it – wins the duel and takes the opponent's card.
   - Duels can be organized in a cup system.
