1. shake the paint thoroughly to mix the pigment before starting work. Pour the liquid paint into a bowl. Usually the whole package (450 ml) is poured out, for beginners who have no experience with the art of ebru, it is recommended to pour out half of the package. The amount of liquid depends on the preferences of the painter.
2. open the colors you want to use for painting. The paints are applied using the pipette included in the kit. To add another colour, wait until the first colour has completely set on the water.
3. after applying all the desired colors and waiting for the paint to completely set on the water, you can start creating patterns with skewers.
4. after finishing the pattern, carefully place the prepared paper on the resulting picture. Set aside in a clean, dry place until completely dry.
5. use e.g. old newspapers to clean the substrate of paint residue.
To prepare the liquid coating, mix the powder (10 g) and 2000 ml of water heated to 60-80 °C (requires adult assistance). Stir vigorously for 2-3 minutes and let stand for about an hour. After this time, stir again until the ingredients are completely combined. Store the liquid in a tightly closed bottle in a dark place. Exposure to sunlight or high temperatures can cause the liquid to lose its properties. Supplies should be consumed within 1 month.
